Green Future Community Garden Project

In October 2023, Green Future Company spearheaded the creation of a Community Garden in Halabja to promote urban agriculture, food security, and community engagement. The garden was developed in collaboration with local agricultural colleges, volunteers, and municipal authorities.
Purpose:
Provide fresh, locally grown vegetables free of charge to low-income families.
Serve as a demonstration site for sustainable gardening methods such as drip irrigation and organic pest control.
Foster a sense of community and shared responsibility for green spaces.
Key Features:
Over 500 square meters of cultivated land divided into communal plots.
Educational signage and guided tours explaining sustainable farming techniques.
Monthly workshops for residents on topics like composting, seed saving, and seasonal planting.
